Pledge Signing | Scottish Independent Institutions

On the 15th of September, The Scottish Goldsmiths Trust were so pleased to welcome representatives from independent educational institutions across Scotland to our Leith offices, to discuss and sign the Ethical Making Pledge.

The Ethical Making Pledge is a collaborative and community-based initiative for jewellery and silversmithing educational institutions. Signing the pledge signifies an institution’s commitment to implement ethical making practises into the curriculum, workshop practises and sourcing of materials.

We are delighted to announce, Scottish independent educational institutions, The Precious Metals Workshop, Central Scotland School of Jewellery, SilverHub and Vanilla Ink as the latest Ethical Making Pledge signatories!
